Unfuck Your Relationship by Healing Anxious and Avoidant Attachment by Tara Wilson
My Cthulhu! What a great tool this book is! Not only does it give practical tools to help you cope and work on anxious attachment, it also gives the different types of therapy that help with this. Things like what they are and how they help, with a brief description of the process. For me, DBT (Dialectal Behavior Therapy) appears to be the way to go. Especially because it helps with emotional regulation, something I was never taught, nor did I learn it in either marriage.

I’m in a relationship now that I don’t want to fuck up because I believed my anxiety or couldn’t control or regulate my emotions. Time to really get to work.

Monster Hunter Vendetta by Larry Correia
I’ve yelled at this book, it’s made me cry, it’s even made me wish monster hunting was real 🀣 I love this series and the characters.

Currently Reading

Us of Legendary Gods by Nick Savage
THE TWISTS! HOLY SHIT, NICK! Yes, caps lock is necessary. I’m absolutely loving this book. Almost didn’t want to go to sleep last night, but sleepiness won out.

Country Roads: A Thriller (The Relic Runner Book 3) by Ernest Dempsey
Dak makes me laugh. I love Dak. If I was in these stories, Dak would be my mentor πŸ˜ƒ

Fierce Self-Compassion by Kristen Neff I’d gotten this from my library and started this months ago. Then I got distracted πŸ™ƒ I have it again, though I don’t know I want to read it now, either. Giving it a shot, so we’ll see. Okay, I was wrong. I returned it 🀣 Swapped for Ernest Hemmingway.

The Sell by Fredrik Eklund
The chapter on social media hurt – the book is almost 10 years old, and the landscape has changed so much that a lot of what he says is irrelevant.

The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemmingway
I started this one about 6 years ago. Decided it’s time to finish it. The real question is how many more days will it take? πŸ˜…

Currently Listening

Monster Hunter Alpha by Larry Correia
We get to learn so much more about Earl now and this story competes for my favorite.

I Didn’t Sign Up for This by Dr. Tracy Dalgeish
Trying to make the time to listen and be able to take notes, and this week has been super busy. The weekend gave me more time, and I’ve gotta say, Dr. Tracy is amazing! I wish more people I’m close to knew her work.
