Book 2 Start and Singing to Annoy People

I’m writing this blog post, singing Vanilla Ice from memory.  Yes, I remember every last word from 1988.  Don’t ask.  On to Ninja Rap and Rick Astley! For no other reason than to torture my husband’s friends via headphones while they play Xbox bwahaha!
Writing for book 2 has commenced, and it has a title!  But I gotta tell you, Dr. van Wolfe is pissed, and I can’t blame her really.  If you’re part of the Launch Team, you’ll know before anyone else why that is.  Wanna join?  Click here!  Don’t know what a Launch Team is?  Let me tell you.  You sign up to read the book before it’s available to the public and agree to leave an HONEST review in exchange for a copy of the book, which you disclose in your review.  You get your choice of ebook version, Kindle or iTunes/anything else emailed to you once it’s ready.  Easy peasy, right?
If that doesn’t interest you but maybe you want to know things I don’t say here, scroll to the bottom of this page (or any other page on the site) and sign up for my once-monthly email list.
Anyway, school is almost over!  1 more week and I’m done for about 8 months or so.  I applied for Spring 2018 semester at university, but they’re full, which is honestly a blessing.  Now I can have the necessary surgery and other medical tests done that are needed. Even better is I don’t have to freak out over registration or getting the classes I want.  Plus I can concentrate on other things like marketing and such for Trapped and WIP Moratorium.
There’s a launch party for Trapped over on Facebook, too.  The date is currently tentative for January 5, 2018.  You can find it here.  I’m working on having some other awesome fantasy authors join me, so maybe go click the interested button to keep up to date on it.  Waiting on the cover so release date can be determined – if it’s going to stay the same or not.  I would like to have a pre-order period, so we’ll see how it goes.  So far, I’m totally in love with the friend I asked to be my official cover artist.  Not that kind of in love with him, but his talent and how easily he can pull my imagination to paper.  He’s seriously talented, and I hope this opens more doors for him.
Oh!  I should probably mention that I’ll be at Melbourne Square Mall this Saturday, December 9, 2017, from 10am – 6pm as part of Authors in a Box.  It’s sure to be a great time, and we’ve got over 30 amazing authors under one roof!  Come on out and say hi!  I’ll be offering gift wrap, too, which, well… I can’t wrap things that well, but I’m doing it, dammit!
Okay, so that’s what’s going on here.  What’s been going on with you? Comment below or use the contact form 🙂
Much Love,
Amanda
