Thoughts on Blogging as an Author

This once-weekly blog thing isn’t working. There are so many reasons, like I forget, no time, or the one that sticks out most: I have nothing to say.
There it is. I don’t really have a whole lot to say to be posting weekly, so I’ll be posting as I do have things to say. One of the things I wanted to bring up is that I have YouTube playlists for Trapped and Moratorium.ย  You can find those here. Moratorium is the title of book 2, if I’ve neglected to mention that. I don’t expect release to be before November, due to a number of factors, the most important one being I’m taking my time writing. None of that waiting for a GoT book, I’m not that bad, but I think November is fair. Do you? Seriously, I want to know what you think. Is 2 books per year a good pattern?
Random: the single space after a period (.) annoys me to no end but I’m currently too braind-dead to bother going through and changing it. More coffee it is!
Tomorrow starts the journey of fixing my health issues that I mentioned back in October. I expect I’ll be arguing with my doctor, too, but that’s a normal thing. I need to find a new one, but, for now, it’ll wait. Don’t get me wrong, he’s proactive, err, he was. There was something rather important he failed to mention on my CT report that an amazing friend pointed out, so this is the big factor of why I’ll be looking into a new primary. Okay, that’s enough of me being all personal and whatnot.
Tell me what you think: is 2 books per year good for you?

  1. I certainly canโ€™t compare myself to you and your writing skills, but I go through patches where I donโ€™t have much to say now the car is complete, especially over the winter. 2 books a year is amazing as far as I am concerned.

    1. Your car is beautiful! You’ve done such an incredible job bringing her a new life!
As an indie, I don’t have to deal with a publishing house choosing when my books release. I have all the control, which is nice, though I’d sure like some of their resources ๐Ÿ˜‰
